First Blog Entry

Hello my name is Gitana. This is my first semester of college. I'm 19, and I love writing. I want to improve my writing skills, so hopefully 101 helps with that. In my free time I like to go shopping, and sleep in. I also work a lot, so I barely have time to do things. If I'm not at work I'm at school, that at times can be a task. My major is criminal justice. I plan on being a juvenile caseworker. I also plan on getting my bachelors degree. Hopefully 101 teaches me how to better my writing, and improves my essays. I have a lot to work on, and I believe this class can help.

In writing 101 I hope to improve my essays. I want to learn how to construct my essays, in a more professional way. I hope the class teaches me the basics on what and what not to do when constructing a blog. I don't want to sound childish but i want to learn how to use more professional words. I say that because I don't want my essays to sound basic. There is a lot that I have to improve to get to where I want to be. If me staying late after classes and getting tutoring is what it takes, then that's what I'm going to do. I plan on achieving my goals in writing and perfecting y craft.
